RFC 1035 limits the Domain name field of DNS records to letters, digits and '-' signs. Some DNS records however (such as SRV records) use additional characters, e.g. '_' (_sip_udp.someschool.edu).
What is the legality of using additional characters for domain names in NAPTR records? (e.g. '@', ':'). Is there any RFC or draft, which supports that? -uri _______________________________________________ Sip mailing list https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/sip This list is for NEW development of the core SIP Protocol Use [EMAIL PROTECTED] for questions on current sip Use [EMAIL PROTECTED] for new developments on the application of sip
