Per other responses, there are people that care about this work.  But,
unfortunately, it is a bit ahead of the mainstream. However, I think it
is important and I would hate to see it linger forever in the WG (it has
already been around for a while). How far is it from being done?

So does anybody besides the authors care, or is this work just so far  
ahead of the mainstream working group that we need to move the work  
to a lower priority queue?
