Please give due consideration to nominating people who you think would be good for the IESG and IAB.
You do not have to gain acceptance of the candidate - that is the function of the nomcom to do that. Remember, these are the people who have to steer your favourite drafts through the final approval process before publication. You want the right people in these jobs.
