I agree with Theo in results, though I'd phrase the answer differently -- In this case, the SBC is acting as a pseudo-proxy, and so its loop detection behavior must be different from what a true UAS would do; it should be detecting loops in the same way that a proxy would. Otherwise you would get the functional problem that you describe.
