(As WG chair) There is a length limitation in bytes on the messages posted to the SIP exploder, which I for one am glad of given the amount of time I have to spend keeping my inbox from overflowing.
If your message exceeds that length, it is held for moderation until Dean or myself get round to spending the cycles to unblock it. Many times we have better things to do with life. If you blindly reply to existing messages including all the content from the thread, then you will rapidly reach this limit. Posting non-text mails (e.g. RTF or HTML) also consumes more space and therefore will more rapidly exceed this limit. You do not need to use the MS outlook default of not sending text - please change these defaults to text/plain when sending to IETF lists. regards Keith _______________________________________________ Sip mailing list https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/sip This list is for NEW development of the core SIP Protocol Use [email protected] for questions on current sip Use [email protected] for new developments on the application of sip
