I want to play a large (long) pcap file but have it stop and end the call when a BYE is received. The reason is simply that I want RTP traffic until the the client decides to end the call. Is this possible or is sipp not processing the scenario until the pcap is done? Should I loop playing a small pcap file over an over with an optional recv BYE in the loop? That would not be as desireable.Thanks,Ed Russell
Hi,
once you start the pcap play, you cannot stop it. A new thread is started and handles the play and there is no synchronization between SIPp and this new thread. If you want to come with a patch for that, everything is welcomed.
