I've been running a
light load test (1 call per second) using an RTP stream with Sipp v1.1-PCAP,
version 20060829.
OS: Fedora
Core 3
Hardware: Dell 3.0
Ghz, 1 Gb RAM
After running for a
minute or two, the test fails with the following error
message:
2006-09-29 12:26:43: send_packets.c: sendto failed with error: Invalid argument
The whole time the
test is running, the CPU is 98% idle. If the call rate is decreased from 1
call per second to .75 call per second, everything works OK. I've also
noticed that by slowing down the call rate the number of simultaneous RTP
streams is also reduced as a by-product of the test configuration. At the
time of failure there are about 10 simultaneous RTP streams active.
Finally, the
behavior is the same running on a different machine using RedHat
9.0.
Running with the "
-trace_logs" option doesn't give any additional diagnostic reporting (the log
file is empty).
Any idea what is
going on here?
