You do regexp on the packet to set or not set a variable and then next with
test to select different next actions with the recv.
I realize that is a short statement - but it should give you enough to find
the right parts of the documentation.

Subject: [Sipp-users] Question about SIPp Error handling capacity
Hi,
I'm a novice user of SIPp even if I know your project since a long time and
have used it for some load test benchmarking with simple call scenario.
Today, I have a question for you after reading the last reference
documentation.
The context is the case of a new open dialog SIP by a SIP component used in
B2BUA mode.
How SIPp can manage simultaneously the following two behaviours:
Behaviours 1
A new SIP open transaction with INVITE method on UAS side from SIPp point of
view as a new SIP message that can't be correlated to an existing call but
which must be treated as a normal new call.
Behaviours 2
An error call handling like an unexpected INVITE message received by SIPp
with an abnormal new (or error) Call-ID value which is also a SIP message
that can't be correlated to an existing call but must be treated this time
as an unexpected received message.
This specific situation could be perhaps found when, from the system under
test point of view, there is simultaneously correct and error call handling
like some unexpected behaviours with the lost of the message sequential
synchronization for differents reasons i.e intermittently I/O error or
processing error with irregularity period which exceeding response time.
Thanks for your response to my request.
King Regards,
Yours sincerely.
