Folks,

as you have seen lately, SIPp is undergoing many changes - thanks to big
contribution providers. And this great! Who could have think 3 years ago
that a small tool released by some individual would become so popular?
However, some of those later contributions are important, and some users
have expressed concerns about the stability of their existing SIPp tests.

In order to accomodate the bandwidth of the people maintaining SIPp, the
rate of the contributions, and the current SIPp user base, I plan to do the
following:
1. Release SIPp 2.0:
Based on the current SVN trunk (SVN 193) + fix for 2 core dumps that have
been discovered lately. We will run a serie of tests before.
Note: Charles, the a number of patches that you have sent on April 19th are
already integrated. You can check the change log:
http://sipp.sourceforge.net/snapshots/changelog.txt
2. Branch SIPp 2.0 so that it can have its own set of bug fixes (and only
bug fixes). So, if some of you provided (bug fixes) patches lately, they
will be integrated in this branch and in the trunk.
3. Continue with the development and integration of new features in the
"unstable" branch (trunk)

Thanks to provide any comments if you feel this is needed.

Thanks everyone,
Olivier.
