This part of the doc was written while no binary packages for libnet and
libpcap were available for solaris. It was also mandatory to compile libnet
from source and edit the libnet_raw.c (which should be located on libnet source
directory) to avoid errors. While you indicated that you installed libnet and
libpcap packages successfully, I cannot tell if the problem you are facing is
related to the tip given into the doc. Note that you don't need those packages
if you don't intent to use the media features of sipp.
As I don't use Solaris, I cannot help you more on this.

Hi,
I'm trying to install SIPp, but getting the following error when running make:
# /usr/ccs/bin/make
make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 22: Unexpected end of line seen
I have done pkgadd on:
libnet-1.1.2.1-sol8-sparc-local
libpcap-0.9.5-sol8-sparc-local
In the documentation I see to Edit the file 'libnet_raw.c' and add "break;" at
line 144, however I am not sure what this means as I don't see that file.
