Hi,

I changed to the following and it seems to be working fine.
 ./sipp 10.10.10.9:5060 -sn uac -l 50000 -m 50000 -nr -trace_err -d
1000000 -r 14-rp 2000 -f 60 -p 8099 -mi 10.10.100.101 -t t1 -sf
capacity.xml -inf sample.csv

Few times sipp is not responding to NOTIFY. Otherwise sipp is working
fine. It was able to send 50,000 subscriptions.

I am fine for now for my tests.

So please ignore my email.

Regards,
Rajeev

Subject: Running capacity for Subscriptions from sipp

Hi,

I have sipp.1.0 version of the sipp client. I want to run a capacity of
say 50,000 subscriptions from a linux server (client for subscriptions)
to another linux server (server for subscriptions) and receive
notifications.
I am using sipp for client for subscriptions.

The flow is:-
sipp side:-
Send SUBSCRIBE---->
Rcv 200 OK
Rcv NOTIFY
Send 200 OK---->

When I am running say 50-60 subscriptions from the sipp client, it is
going fine. I kept the rate to say 25. But after some point the
subscriptions are not going from sipp.

When I increased the rate of subscriptions, some of the subscriptions
are not being responded from the sipp. And some of the subscriptions are
responded with CANCEL.

The following is example:-
 ./sipp 10.10.10.9:5060 -sn uac -l 100 -m 1056 -nr -trace_err -d 1000000
-r 100 -rp 2000 -f 60 -p 8099 -mi 10.10.100.101 -t t1 -sf capacity.xml
-inf sample.csv

I have kept the rate very high. May be that is the problem. I am doing
it from a linux server.

Otherwise if I have to run say 50,000 subscriptions what should be ideal
rate (r and rp).
If somebody already know it and have some suggestion then it will help
me.

Thanks & Regards,
Rajeev
