Hello,

I´ve sent this thread some days ago, but I didn´t get no response. During
this period I found the SIPStone article, that says that the time between
the calls must be according to Poisson statistical distribution. Does this
information apply to SIPp too? I´m using uas_pcap scenario.

If anyone already read about this I would be grateful, because this work is
intended to be done in 1,5 month;
Below follows the older message.

Have a nice weekend ; )

Hi Folks,

I´ve been using sipp for my graduation final work, and my supervisor asked
for me to see what´s the statistical distribution used by sipp to stabilish
the number of cps, as it is variable as I could see. For example, when I set
the cps 10, it stays about 9,9 , 9,8, etc.

Another doubt is about the same thing for the call duration.

If you know some articles related to performance tests in sip servers
involving statistics (actually I´m using Asterisk for tests), you can send
to me.

Regards,
