Hi Thomasz, The IMS Bench SIPp branch is targeted specifically towards executing a SIP benchmark and the use of the manager is mandatory in the current state of the code. It should not be very difficult to restore operation in a standalone classical SIPp way within the same code base but no effort was done to achieve this.
What you can do to start with simple tests is to use a single scenario in the configuration. I get two problems: 1. When I try to run the "uac" built-in scenario and I got the following error log: sipp: The following events occured: 2008-04-21 14:57:04.599: Created CConsole 0x8b6a5c8. 2008-04-21 14:57:04.698: call_socket=0 sock=6. 2008-04-21 14:57:04.699: Exception at sipp.cpp:2093. 2008-04-21 14:57:04.699: Using old method !!!, errno = 22 (Invalid argument). 2008-04-21 14:57:04.699: Too many exceptions - Leaving!. 2008-04-21 14:57:04.703: final cleanup. The exact command line to run SIPp was: sipp -sn uac -m 1 -p 5091 -mp 4488 -rsa 172.17.38.128:5060 172.17.38.205:5092 The error appears immediately after starting SIPp (SIPp prints a message about "too many exceptions" and exits and the log contains the text above). 2. When I run the uas scenario, it doesn't react to incoming messages. I tried the following command lines to start SIPp: sipp -sn uas -p 5092 sipp -sn uas -i 172.17.38.205 -p 5092 (172.17.38.205 is the host on which I run SIPp) lsof command shows that SIPp is listening on the specified port: sipp 32357 test 6u IPv4 185519 UDP 172.17.38.205:5092 My platform is: Celeron (single CPU) CentOS release 4.4 (Final) uname -a: Linux server06.ericpol.int 2.6.9-42.0.10.EL #1 Tue Feb 27 09:24:42 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux I've compiled IMS bench SIPp from sources. Is it generally means that IMS bench SIPp should be usable the way as normal SIPp was (without manager)? The reason I need this is to make some simple test before running the actual performance test using the full functionality of IMS bench SIPp.
