Hi:
Can you help with the following questions:
- When using 2 SIPp clients on the same machine with options "-t tn
-max_socket 20", SIPp seems to crash within a few minutes with the following
message: - "Unable to connect a TCP socket, errno=99 (Cannot assign
requested address)". Have you seen this error before and if so do you know
of a way to resolve this ? The machine has SuSE linux on it.
Complete SIPp command used:
sipp -sf <basic-invite-scenario> -t tn -max_socket 20 -r 30 -rp 100 -nd -l
10000 -buffsize 33554432 -trace_err -trace_screen <server:port>
- When using a single SIPp client with option "-t tn -max_socket 50" (and
the rest same as above), the number of TCP connections in TIME_WAIT state
grows quite large (used "netstat -an | grep <server-ip:sip-port> | wc -l)
and stabilizes around 18k such connections. Do you know if this is an issue
and needs resolution ?
thanks.
varun.
