So, Does anyone have an idea on how to perform (or simulate) the launch of
multiple SIPp instances with
the same local port and IP address ?
Best regards,
Andrew

address and the same port ?
Well, each time I launch a SIPp instance, it seems to try to create a socket
with specified IP adress and port number.
In this case, it is not possible.
But what if SIPp could use an already open socket for a first instance in order
to send packets ?
For the script, I am wondering what will happen if a call take more time than
the timeout of the REGISTER...
Thanks for your answer,
Andrew

Andrew,
Basically no - it is an operating system restriction rather than an SIPp one.
You can either try 3PCC - so you pass the packets through another SIPp process,
or try to create a script that sends both REGISTER and INVITE after some
timeouts.

Hi all,
I am facing a big question: Is it possible to lauch multiple instances of SIPp
with :
- The same source IP address
- The same source port
Reason : I want to simulate end-users behaviours in order to test an equipment :
--> Regular REGISTER sending (every 800s for example)
--> Non regular INVITE sending
>From the equipment point of view all the requests come from the same IP @ /
>port number.
Thanks a lot in advance
Best regards,
Andrew
