I havent tried the exec commands in an xml scenario file on Windows at all,
I was just saying it may make things easier to go use a different testing OS
like Linux.
If you are using Vista, you will need to be running sipp in admin mode. You
can do this a few ways but when you run the command prompt, right click on
it and choose run as administrator. I believe you would need to be running
as administrator to write any file on the local file system.

Then, there is nothing to write information from script to a log file?
nothing for Windows?

Just an FYI
I ran into too many Windows version related issues for
running test with sipp and suggest moving to a Linux based system. I am
presently using Fedora 10/11 with small footprint computers and getting a
large bang for the buck. When running multiple sipp sessions for one thing,
the bind_local flag doesnt work in any version I have of windows and the
I works on XP and Windows 7 but not in Vista.
If running Vista, make sure sipp is running as administrator or it may not
have permission to execute the echo command.

Hello.
I am trying to use the exec command with SIPP 3.1, but I am getting an
error regarding cygwin dlls.
<nop>
<action>
<exec command="echo hello >> jim.log"/>
</action>
</nop>
I tried downloading/installing a copy of Cygwin (looked like the same
version that SIPP was built with, from the cygwin1.dll version), got dll
mismatches with this config
Does anyone have this working on Windows XP?
