Moreover, SIPp fails to start as there is a following
a=path:msrp://[media_ip]:[media_port] at SDP part of xml script.

There is a following error: 1277826281.898026: media_port keyword with
no audio or video on the current line (

a=path:msrp://162.16.87.93:).

currently, sipp only supports audio and video over RTP.   You can
either:

 

1) add support yourself and submit the diff, or

2) request support at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sipp/develop

 

I agree, TCP media would be nice to have, as it seems to be growing in 

popularity.
