Hi,

Good day to all!

My queries are divided into 3 parts.

PART 1
I have gone through the SIPp test tool documentation and understood
that it can be used for the below mentioned purpose. As for my
application it can be used to test SIP IPPBX (B2BUA) .
1) IPPBX Load testing (by increasing the number of users making calls)
2) IPPBX Stress testing (Increasing the number of simultaneous calls)
3) Testing IPPBX features (e.g CALL forwards, REGISTER and UN-REGISTER
methods and SIP methods like PRACK and UPDATE)
Is there anything else I have missed out?

PART 2
Secondly, as per documentation performance testing is the main role of
SIPP -- i.e increasing call rate and/or high number of simultaneous
call can be made to IPPBX.Any other thing is included in performance
testing using SIPp? If yes, please give details.
What do they mean by increasing the call rate?

PART 3
Finally in my set up I need to make 300 calls i.e USER IDs on UAC side
starting from (100-400) will make calls to USER IDs (600-900) on UAS
Side. I shall add all these 600 user IDs onto the IPPBX using a
script.
While running the ./SIPp command, how can i configure users 100 - 400
to call users 600-900? Should i add these users to a list using
the -inf option? And put all these users into external CSV files? Can
anybody tell me how to do so?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
Reuben
