Thanks Greg and Patrick for your responses. The responses received are expected, but apparently they are being received out of order and/or too late. Here's a line of the error log created with -trace_error: sipp: The following events occured:2011-09-11 19:42:41:161 1315784561.161207: Aborting call on unexpected message for Call-Id '188-8326@::1': while expecting '200' (index 5), received 'SIP/2.0 180 RingingVia: SIP/2.0/UDP [::1]:5062;received=127.0.0.1;branch=z9hG4bK-8326-188-0From: sipp <sip:sipp@[::1]:5062>;tag=8326SIPpTag00188To: sut <sip:service@127.0.0.1:5061>;tag=188Call-ID: 188-8326@::1CSeq: 1 INVITEContact: <sip:[::1]:5061;transport=UDP>Content-Length: 0 The scenarios I'm using are the same as the defaults, but without the 100 (Trying message) and I've also removed the pause at the end. For the stress test I'm going to use 10 PC (5 UAS and 5 UAC), but I'm trying with just two first to verify that everything works fine. I'm still getting this unexpected messages error/

Are the ACK messages ok or expected when you look at the wireshark? What is the call flow you are expecting vs what you are getting. If you can't or don't want to share, you do have to make sure the scenario match what you expect as well as what the OpenSIPs gives you in responses. greg On Sep 12, 2011, at 9:32 AM, Luis Morales wrote:Greetings, I'm trying to use SIPp to perform a stress test on a SIP proxy Server ( I'm using Opensips as a Proxy Server), but with a low CPS (starting with 200 CPS) I'm getting a lot of unexpected messages errors in SIPp. I used -trace_err to see what the error where, and basically it's receiving some responses that it did not expect, such as receiving and ACK while expecting and OK. I've also used Wireshark to analyze what was going on, and I saw that the proxy was apparently working fine, so I'm wondering if i have to modify the SIPp scenarios for it to work, or what else could I be doing wrong? (I've tried the defaults SIPp scenarios, and I've also modified them, and I've always get the same results).
