Thanks, Josh!
I’ve double checked what type of openssl was installed on the machine and both
the regular openssl package and the openssl-devel package were already there.

This is what the system says when I try to install these packages:
Package openssl-devel-1.0.0e-1.fc15.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
Package openssl-1.0.0e-1.fc15.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

I had the reg.xml and test.csv in the same folder where the SIPp executable is
located and got the error “Authentication requires OpenSSL support”. The
reg.xml is just a simple registration scenario file with basic authentication.
I am really confused.  Can you shed some light on this? Thanks very much.
Everybody else’s comments are also welcomed.

Alex

Hi Alex,
I’m assuming that you have just the regular OpenSSL installed.  Try installing
‘OpenSSL-devel’  or something named similar.  It should be available via the
YUM package installer.  – This solved my “Authentication requires OpenSSL
support” a few months back on the same OS.

support"

Hi folks,
I'm trying to get a SIPp executable with TLS and authentication support. I have
had the latest openssl installed on the machine and had build SIPp with the
command “make ossl”, but I am still getting the error “Authentication requires
OpenSSL support” when I am trying to play around some scenario xml files. Any
idea what is going on? Thanks!
I am building SIPp on Fedora 15.
