SIPP is powerful tool and best option for open source SIP tools, but I find
it's XML scenario file encapsulated interface limiting when you want to use
the tool with other tools and frameworks.

For example, use it in a keyword or data driven framework, or a BDD
framework.

Integration with such would be much more easier and powerful if SIPP
offered API way to build tests rather than just XML scenario files.

For example here's a competing tool w/ API but it seems stagnant since 2009:

So I was wondering if others in the community have assessed and made
attempts at trying to use SIPP with other tools and frameworks and what
their findings were. Would be nice if there was a public blog documenting
trials & success/failure at such attempts for others to get ideas and
follow upon.

David
