Thanks; I'll take a look at this relatively soon. In the meantime, you
might want to try compiling with a fresh install of the latest Cygwin
version, just to make sure there's no oddities there.

The output of "./sipp; echo $?" and of "strace ./sipp" might also be
useful (the latter is likely to be quite long, so perhaps run "strace
-o strace_sipp_output.txt ./sipp" and then attach the
strace_sipp_output.txt file).
