Michael,
The usual reason for needing this is for testing non-record routing 
proxies. These drop out of the call flow after the dialog is 
established, but SIPp continues to send traffic to the same destination. 
Therefore, you need a record-routing proxy between SIPp and the SUT to 
act an outbound proxy for SIPp.

Santosh,
I can recommend Kamailio as a solid, open-source proxy, but I can't 
guarantee you will find it easy to configure. What OS are you using for 
the proxy?
