Hi Sakharam,
Please not the scenario is not an objectiv e and is specifically used for
me to generate errors and learn how the regex and logging is working in
SIPp as I have still not understood it week enough from the current level
of documentation.
Therefore where I am checking for an SDP in a REGISTER message that is to
trigger a message and I use it to make sure that is always a trigger; then
I can work on the differences seen when I use 'log message' instead of
'warning message'.
my findings so far:
1. see a file generated as a result of a 'log message' statement.
2. Check multiple regex messages for a single RECV.
3. I can use 'warning message' to log multiple messages that will be seen
in the error log file generated.
Items 1 & 2 above are objectives I have still not managed to achieve.
I have been asking question mainly around item 1 but behind the scenes I am
stiill trying to get item 2 working also but struggling.
I am trying to build a scenario that will act as a UAS and receive a
REGISTER request ultimately it will perform a series of checks for valid
input and also check that the password was correct if any check fails it
should error and pass information back on which check failed. Looking
through the docs it would seem to be possible but implementing this seems
difficulty right now.
Onto your bullet points:
- I hope that provides sufficient background for you to understand what I
am doing.
- I have added the additional options to the command line to only run once
then exit. Thanks
- I could of course exclude the loading on the injection file for it to be
cleaner but as it was not used I was lazy and left it there across test
runs. Thanks
- see item 1 above I have yet to see sipp generate the log file in any test
I have run......
- Hopefully the explanation for this weird check above make sense.
That I believe leaves me no further forward to generating a log message
than I was a few days ago, I will certainly clean up my command line and I
think I will reduce the scenario to as simple as I can for this particular
problem to see why this is not working I am certain it is something I am
not getting just not sure what.
Thanks
Paul
