I was doing asterisk load testing by using SIPP and successfully got it
running but couldn't get what exactly the values provided by SIPP are for.
What is the meaning of "running", "paused" and "woken up"? The value of
"Running" is 1 every time, "paused" has highest value and keeps on
increasing, "Woken up" value ranges around 25.
Here is what I got while running the test: http://i.imgur.com/8ByyR4z.png
And the final statistics is: http://i.imgur.com/JGxfMFF.png
I was running the test with command: ./sipp -sn uac -d 2000 -s 6001 <IP> -l
10 -mp 5606
Now, I couldn't figure out what this result means and how much call my
asterisk server can handle. Its 1 core, 500MB memory system.
In all case, there's "1 open sockets". What does that mean?
So, finally it would be great if anyone could tell me what is the meaning
of these terms:
1. Running
2. Paused
3. Woken up
4. Open socket
5. Cumulative value
6. * calls (limit *)
Thanks.
