The customer case we had reported had registration issues - the phone
showed registered, but when the user attempted to make a call it did not
get placed. This may have been related to multiple registrations.

I would not recommend that 601s are deployed with this method unless SIP
3.1.0 or later is being used.

I did test it with 601 set, and did not notice problem with my
settings.. I was told that to have feature enabled but with no valid
license won't do any harm to the sets.
