Woof's instant analysis:

    An interesting step for Digium, as Skype support makes an interesting  
differentiator in the market.  Skype's popularity cannot be denied, and  
the way it "just works" in all NAT situations has made it much easier to  
deploy than competing SIP solutions.

Of course, Skype is closed source, and employes a propriatary protocol  
which is rather well guarded.  It'll be interesting to see how it gets  
packaged--Digium only, or part of the Asterisk ecosystem.
