I find a forum a great addition to our different mechanisms for communication.
Not everybody likes email lists and a forum is a great complement. It also
provides a simple way to archive conversations. We tried creating a forum
before.

The main condition for getting tracktion on a forum is that it runs in parallel
with the email list. All posts made to either proliferate to the other.
