Thinking about this as I noticed a comment.  Do we think Operating
system packages are needed as part of this offering?  I think that maybe
a good longer term goal however I would think that would pose all kinds
of other challenges.

I thought about it. That's easy to implement if "changes" are somehow
available in a well known location. Are they?
