Hello, I am finding some configuration problems with LG nortel phones. I am trying to be a good citizen and only use sixpconfig to configure the phone but so far no luck. I do not see the user name nor do I see the proxy domain from the phone GUI. I also do not see the password. I know the phone got the right tfpt address because I can see that in the phone GUI. It picked up only the phone user name and nothing else.
I don`t know if this is related to http://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/ViewVC/sipXecs?view=rev&revision=13522 I am running a DNS SRV configuration and my domain name is not set to my hostname (just the domain part). The sipxconfig revision I am using is 3.11.7-013780 I am up to speed with the firmware revisions for the LIP 6812 phone. Not sure what to do next other than disable DHCP for the phone and configure by hand... ( which would be a copout ). Ranga -- M.
