The title of http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XECS-1423 is currently "Improved process start/stop/control system from sipXsupervisor", but it really describes two things:
1) improved logging of all child output by sipXsupervisor 2) use stdin to send messages to the child In this sprint, I am planning to do just 1). I do not see the need to do 2) in this release, as we have xmlrpc to do what we need. Should I create a new issue to do just 1) and leave this one open for future consideration? or just use this issue? or do 2) as well? There are now a couple of issues essentially asking for 1).
