We are deploying sipXecs/FreeSwitch/OpenFire in Contact Center scenarios 
and the quickest way to integrate all this is to build this 
functionality into own Agent applitacion which changes users status 
(incoming/outgoing/idle/offline/break/wrapup etc).

FreeSwitch has no way of setting "foreign" SIP user status that is - you 
can integrate presence with FS and OpenFire but only for SIP UAs 
registered _on_ your FS instance.
