Hello all, Laurentiu was trying to create some CDR's to test the jasper-reports patch, but he ran into some problems. Not sure if this is a bug or not. He tried to register some phones to sipxconfig, but it didn't work because it seems that sipregistrar was not starting because of " Configuration test failed". This is in revision 14099. But that isn't the problem.
We have a LG-Nortel phone here which was previously registered to Laurentiu's server, configured by hand, with user 202. This user existed on Laurentiu's server and he thought of trying to make a call. Pressed 200 on the phone keyboard and pressed "Call". The phone said "Temporary failure". But when he looked in sipxconfig interface, there was an active call displayed, from 202 to 200. No phones are showing up in the "Registration" page. He thought it was just a coincidence, so tried to dial some other number, a random 4 digit number(5678). Again, the phone said "Temporary failure", but there was a call from 202 to 5678 in the active calls page. I remembered some e-mail on the list about active calls showing up after the call had ended, and the solution: to restart the call resolver. But that didn't work. After the restart of the call resolver, the same active calls showed up in there. Tried restarting all the services, same result. Tried restarting sipx all-together, same result. He even restarted the computer, the active calls were still there. The only thing that made the active calls go away was reseting the DB. After reseting the DB, we had no users except superadmin. So we tried the same thing from the phone, with the same result: a new active call displayed in the interface, from 202 to 206. (only this time user 202 did not exist) Does anybody know what this is? Anybody else see this? Is this a bug? Should we open a JIRA?
