There is no hard rule but I tend to think that if sipXconfig can provide
reasonable defaults for parameters they should be declared as 'advanced' or
maybe even 'hidden'.

You probably get some feedback speciifc to this case if you tell us what
those parameters actually mean and how you plan to compute the defaults...
