After installing the latest build and while running the sipx-setup
script I get the following error:
Failed to read configuration for
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
Enter network interface settings for this system:
The script asks for an IP address.
The file ifcfg-eth0 is this and has not changed for a long time:
# Intel Corporation 82541GI Gigabit Ethernet Controller DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
HWADDR=00:0F:1F:FA:CE:95
ONBOOT=yes
Why do I get this error? Was a change made that prevents setting a
static IP address for the server through DHCP?
