Woof! This whole discussion is based on a flawed premise.
The reason for the sipX-noroute, and other non-forwarding stuff was in there for the Click to Dial where the GUI was calling the users DESK phone first, and none of the aliases/forwarding were to be applied. Those requirements make sense for Click to Dial. Apparently, however, they got copied into the "click to join to conference" code, where it makes no sense.
