I would only add it to the repo you are having a problem with.

Can you please clarify, shoud I add http_caching=packages to

Sorry for bothering, but my experience with yum is not big..

Nikolay.

do

rm -fr /var/cache/yum/*

yum clean all

yum makecache

then try adding

http_caching=packages
to the repo and see if that bypasses the problem

I tried ‘yum clean all’ but after removing the contents of
/var/cache/yum/…
And still getting the same “Metadata file does not match checksum”
error…

I normally just do "yum clean all".

Thanks for the reply.
I tried removing all under /var/cache/yum/…
But alas, now I’ getting the following error:

Can somebody please help with this…

Hi all,

I have a test sipx server with 014587 (64 bit) version installed.

I can see that
http://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/temp/sipXecs/main/CentOS/5/x86_64/RPM/
contains 014650 sipx rpm’s.

I have the following repository:

[r...@sipx3 ~]# cat /etc/yum.repos.d/sipxecs-unstable-centos.repo

[sipxecs-unstable]

name=SIPfoundry sipXecs pbx - latest mainline version

baseurl=http://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/temp/sipXecs/main/CentOS/5/$basearch/RPM

gpgcheck=0

gpgkey=https://secure2.pingtel.com/RPM-GPG-KEY-pingtel

enabled=1

But yum does not see this new 014650 packages…

Yum list available shows 014587 rpm’s…

Meanwhile last time I successfully updated 014573 to 014587 using yum
and the above repo file…

Is it something wrong with my setup?

Please advise…

Thanks and regards,

Nikolay.

Try clearing out the yum cache: sudo rm -rf /var/cache/yum/*
