Hi all, Regarding System -> Servers "Add Server", we have this JIRA:
XCF-2925: add button to resolve hostnames to IP addresses when adding new server Which came from this thread: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.voip.sipx.devel/13011 Adding a new button seems a little complicated, so I'd like to suggest an alternative. Keep all the existing settings, and don't add any new ones. If the IP Address is entered by the user, then sipXconfig should behave just as it does now. If the IP Address is left blank, then sipXconfig will do a DNS lookup when you click OK or Apply. In most cases the DNS lookup will succeed and return exactly one IP address, which sipXconfig will use as if it was entered by the user. If the DNS lookup fails or returns more than one IP Address, then sipXconfig should give an error message to the user. If the hostname was indeed entered correctly, then the user will have to manually enter the IP Address (or wait for DNS to start working again.) The IP Address help text should read something like: "Leave blank to have sipXconfig determine the IP Address of this server." Maybe also move this setting down below Password?
