Hello, I'd like to have a discussion on XCF-3150 <http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XCF-3150> :Auto-answer for Intercom and Paging should support the same phones.
>From my understanding, not all phones, which sipx support, support intercom feature. As XCF-3150 describes that currently intercom is restricted to Polycom, LG, and Snom phones on sipx. I am not sure it is a good idea to explicitly list the phone types that support this feature on the UI. I think the proper place should be in the customer admin guide or release notes. To specifically reference particular phone types on the UI will result frequent changes on the UI side in order to synchronize with the actual phone plugins supported. I am proposing to remove the specific phone types restriction on the UI, and indicate that this functionality will only work with phones that support Intercom. Comments? Thanks, Huijun
