Hi, Paul,
Thanks for your help. Seems my compile was well done without error exit. I ran
the sipxecs-setup under my configure --prefix=/etc/sipxpbx, most of steps were
done but claimed "sipxpbx: unrecognized service" when service sipxpbx start.

Jun

Hi Jun,
Sounds like you're well on the way to completing a manual build, but...
Next time consider the Express Development Environment:
http://sipx-wiki.calivia.com/index.php/Express_Development_Environment_Setup
You'll know your build and install are done correctly when the final script
outputs "DONE!". At that point sipXecs will be running, and you'll be able to
point your web browser at your system and start configuring.
For the manual build, if "make build" finished without errors then the compile
was good. Now run the sipx-setup script. It'll be in "bin" of your install
directory, which might be /usr/local/sipx, depending on whether or not you used
the "--prefix" parameter during the "configure" step.

I svned the source code and followed the build instruction. After the lengthy
progress of making build, how do I know the compiling is well done ?
