I like your suggestion Paul on the name below. Good one for 4.2 Just so everyone is clear I just tried this on our live system. What it shows in the UI is: CLID (nob...@ipaddress:15060)
Where CLID is the caller ID coming from my PRI and IPADDRESS is the sipXecs conferencing server. Since we do show the CLID of the caller what is the big problem? Right, I forgot that it's only the AOR part of the Name (in parentheses) that's wrong. The main part of the Name is the Caller ID, which is what's important. On a related note, I'd like to propose a new feature. It would be nice if a conference administrator could somehow nickname/rename participants. Use Case: A new participant enters and via the Conference portal I see the Name is "6135552834 ([email protected]:15060)". I then talk to this new participant and determine it's Hank. I'd now like to tag this participant's row in the Conference portal with "Hank". That will make it easier to identify Hank later when I want to Isolate/Mute/Disconnect him. Any objections or further suggestions to an Enhancement JIRA for this? -Paul [email protected] _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev
