I saw that there is some interconnectivity with Skype being tested for their Skype for "SIP beta applications". (Thanks for posting that Al).
Skype has always seemed like a red-headed step child to me, with their Skype's constant refusal to adhere or acknowledge CALEA in the US, it doesn't make it a sensible choice for US businesses. At the same time it's fine in other parts of the world. Not trying to pick on Skype, it's a cool thing for some, read on... Jingle (googletalk) is supported in freeswitch in some fashion already. So seeing how a lot of businesses already are moving towards a hosted email/im and document storage platform, where Google is not an ideal fit for everyone, they are a good example of a "one-ness" for a lot of things. Has any though gone into whether or not Jingle can be incorporated and routed through sipXbridge like the current Skype Beta has? Knowing Jingle is not sip, or at least as i understand it. Thought it was a good question to ask.
