Hi all,

With SIP Trunking (sipXbridge) enabled, add a "SIP Trunk" Gateway with
"sipXbridge-1" as the Route. Fill in a Name and Address, but leave all
other fields blank. This should be accepted without any error.

Then create a Dial Rule to use this Gateway. Upon applying this change
you will be notified that SIP Registrar and SIP Proxy both need to be
restarted. There is no indication that SIP Trunking needs a restart
though.

Even if you don't perform the prompted restart, after a couple of
minutes the Status of SIP Trunking changes to Configuration test failed
- Standard error - User Name is mandatory for ITSP accounts requiring
Registration. Check ITSP account xxx.example.com.

Two things:

1. Is SIP Trunking being auto-restarted, or shutting itself down?
Shouldn't changes affecting SIP Trunking prompt the same restart needed
message and handling as SIP Proxy and SIP Registrar?

2. The Configuration test failed because I was allowed to create a
Gateway with invalid default configuration: "Register on initialization"
is true by default, but the default Username and Password values are
blank. Ideally this would have been caught when I attempted to add the
Gateway. But those settings are ITSP Account screen, which you do not
see until after the Gateway is added.

Turning "Register on initialization" off by default won't help, since
some provider templates (selected when you add the Gateway) require
registration.

Perhaps "Register on initialization" and the credentials should also be
prompted for when you create a Gateway?

Thanks.
