We are not going to be using XML RPC for our interactions with sipxconfig in the sipxopenfire XMPP service. xml rpc is still used to export some miscellaneous information that might be of interest - for example the chat room membership and presence information. I wonder if it makes sense to use REST for the export of this presence information ( it is now available through an xml rpc interface ). Would it make sense to export the watcher output ( i.e. sip dialog watcher output) from that service as well ?
