Hello, I am wondering if it is worth the trouble to implement persistent chat rooms ( i.e. chat rooms where the participant list is persisted over restarts ). It would take some sipxconfig work to support this feature ( for example we would need an xml rpc interaction to delete such rooms ).
My take is that it is not worth the trouble. Please voice an opinion. I would totally agree however we need to disable the openfire web UI. So if a customer is using it today they could end up missing a feature when trying to use our offering. Not ideal but maybe ok for a first release. Thanks Ranga -- M. Ranganathan
