Yes. I upgraded the Acegi library that handles authentication and I separated the initial-config authentication handling (checking the location password) from other authentication modules. It certainly wasn't my intention to change anything that would require setup script changes (although having the name of the server in both credentials and URL is probably superfluous) but obviously upgrading the authentication library did change something. Mircea and I tried wget/curl and it seems authenticate as expected. Clearly Python thinks sipXconfig is not doing something properly now. And workaround provided by patch just looks a bit too magical. I was hoping someone can shed some light on it.
