Our agents pass through a box that has 2 physical Ethernet interfaces before
getting to sipX. 1 DMZ and 1 inside interface. When a sip Registration
shows up at sipX, the registration looks like this:

<sip:[email protected]:5079;x-sipX-privcontact=192.168.103.201%3A5079>

The 192.168. address is the DMZ address. the 10.103. address is the inside
LAN address.

When a call comes into the queue, the ACD tries to send the call (IP layer)
to the agent on the DMZ address. But of course that address is not routable
on the network so it doesn't get any response from it's INVITE's.

sipX obviously knows about the inside IP address.. ( 10.103.151.34 )..
This is the IP address the REGISTER packet was sourced from, and this also
shows up in the registration. Why wouldn't sipX ACD send the INVITE to the
agent using the inside address, and just place the DMZ address in the
contact URI??

thanks,
James
