We've been through all this before.  First it started off as a hard  
requirement.  Then someone complained that they didn't want to be  
bothered with anything to do with openfire and it was changed to a  
soft requirement, i.e. if the openfire prerequisite was not installed,  
then the component that was dependent upon it would be skipped.  That  
logic has not been integrated into the sipXivr component build and I'm  
not sure that it should.

For now just consider it a mandatory prerequisite and always install  
it along with all the other prerequisites.  I'm sure that there are  
many more important things that we should be spending energy on right  
now.
