Hi Woof
Today I have re-imaged my system as the last one was an upgraded
system, and MOH was configured from older 4.1 builds that was confusing
things.
I now have a new system built from ISO Build 4.1.0-016860
My findings:
I have uploaded some wav files (wav files tested ok and I have used them
on previous systems)
Set the Music source as "System Music Directory" both under Features >
MOH and for the Conference I have created.
Restarted Media Service as requested
When I put a call on hold or when I am only participant in Conference I
do not hear the new wav files I uploaded but I do hear the default.wav
file in /var/sipxdata/parkserver/music
I checked the directory /var/sipxdata/mediaserver/data/moh I do see the
new wav files that I uploaded
QA have reproduced and raised XX-6817
I then changed the Music source both under Features > MOH and for the
Conference to "Sound Card"
Restarted the Media service
Again I hear the default.wav being played when call on hold
In the Conference I get no music being played just silence
I tried the command alsaumute but I get:
-bash: alsaunmute: command not found
This is the internal Audio device on the Dell:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 02)
I also checked the system BIOS and the Internal Audio Device shows as
enabled

You are the first to try this on our ISO.
Perhaps the audio is muted? Try "alsaumute" from the command line.
