Sometimes that's a service that the ITSP can provide.  Generally, doing
traffic studies is in their best interest, as it usually sells more trunks
for them.  And, they can apply engineering principles to it to establish
predefined availability strategies.

 

Also, Call Accounting packages generally create that data using reports from
the real time data collection they do.

Are there any mechanism to allow a report of usage for ITSP trunking within
sipXbridge?

 

Ideally, there would be a way to look at the last "xx" period and determine
how many trunks in total were in use simultaneously. It would be a nice tool
if it were available to see if you had a call blocking issue and needed to
get more trunks, etc.
